I’ve talked about this before (and it is a bit off topic), but it seems like most of us are just predisposed to love old shit in general – I guess it goes hand-in-hand with traditional hot rods and customs. Lately, I’ve been obsessing on vintage articles for my office/shop. I don’t plan on doing any real mechanical work at The Jalopy Journal World Headquarters, but I did think it would be prudent to have a set of tools available. And they should be vintage, right? And I need a clock… It has to have soul to it. And what about a battery charger just in case? Those vintage jobs are bitchin…
In any case, I don’t own all of this stuff yet but thought I would post a few of my favorites I’ve found. If you’ve got the time, post some of the old shit found in your garage or office. I need the inspiration.
……………
My next post will be from Tennessee… I’m headed to Chattanooga, TN for the Coker Tire Challenge. Word on the street is that I’ll be wheeling Corky’s Double Exposure ‘32 Roadster and going for my first Rally win. Wish me luck!
