If you’re in the market to find a used car, you may want to resort to some great online resources, before you head out, and purchase your used car. There are a lot of great websites online that are going to save you time, and money.
Before you start on your search, you’re going to want to make sure that you’re going to get a good deal on your purchase. This is why I would recommend that you head to KBB to make sure you know the value of the car you’re looking at to get a fair value. You won’t want to overspend, and find out about it later.
Great car websites that you can use to save money
eBay – In my opinion, eBay is one of the best places to check out when it comes down to finding the perfect used car. You can browse by make, model, year, and location. If you’re willing to travel far, you can find some great used car deals in your area. It’s free to browse, and a great way to find a good deal.
AutoTrader - Another great website, and magazine is AutoTrader. Here, you’re going to find the world’s busiest website in terms of cars being sold, and purchased. You can search from used, and new. Just like eBay, you’ll be able to find the car you want, along with contact information. Contact the buyer on any car you’re interested in, and go from there!
Craigslist - The last site that I would recommend is CraigsList. A lot of people take this path, because it’s going to be free for them. I think it’s a great tool, but not laid out as nice as the others, but you can find some gems if you act fast enough.
With all these websites, be aware of the scams that can follow. Never send money over the Internet, and make sure that you meet with someone in person to see the car, before you actually purchase it.
